The Fall River Contributory Retirement Board will convene for an official meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026.
The session is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. at 21 Father DeValles Blvd., Suite GR1. According to the public notice, the meeting is expected to run until 12:30 p.m., though the end time remains subject to change based on the agenda.
On the agenda
- Statement regarding recording of meetings — The Board will make an announcement about whether the meeting is being recorded.
- Minutes of the July 2026 board meeting submitted for review/approval – vote — The Board will review and vote on whether to approve the official minutes from their July 2026 meeting.
- Disbursement Warrants for review/ acknowledgement /approval – signatures — The Board will review, acknowledge, and sign the official warrants to authorize the payout of funds.
- Distributed to Board for acknowledgement, discussion, and/or vote — The Board will review and discuss financial updates, including the FRRS June 2026 Cash Books, PRIM investment performance and quarterly updates, and PERAC Memos #23 and #24.
- Superannuation Retirement Applications: – discuss / vote — The Board will discuss and vote on a standard retirement application submitted by Steven Desmarais of the Police Department.
- FRRB 2nd Quarter Budget review — The Board will conduct a review of the Fall River Retirement Board’s budget for the second quarter.
- Executive Session — The Board may meet privately to discuss physical or mental health details regarding disability retirement applications for Jonathan Souza and Sean Kenyon.
