The Bristol County Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coalition will hold an official meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026.
The session is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Lakeville Public Library, located at 4 Precinct Street in Lakeville. The meeting is scheduled to run through 5:30 p.m., though officials note the end time is subject to change.
On the agenda
- Open Meeting/Welcome – Introduction of any new members — The coalition will open the meeting, welcome attendees, and introduce any new members.
- Review & Approval – June Meeting Minutes (end of BP2) — The coalition will review and approve the minutes from the June meeting.
- Items not known 48 hours ahead — The coalition will address any urgent matters that were not anticipated prior to the 48-hour meeting notice deadline.
- Local State Advisory Committee (LSAC) Update — Amy Donovan-Palmer will provide an update regarding the Local State Advisory Committee.
- HMCC Updates — Health & Medical Coordinating Coalition Program Manager Chrystal Lapine will give an update on coalition activities.
- Budget Updates BP 3 — HMCC Financial Manager Elaine LaCoursiere will present budget updates for Budget Period 3.
- Planner Updates: MHOA Conference -Update — Sheila Wallace will provide an update on the Massachusetts Health Officers Association (MHOA) Conference.
- Planner Updates: Review of BP3 Priorities and requirements — Sheila Wallace will review the priorities and requirements for Budget Period 3.
- Planner Updates: Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Crisis Risk Communication — Sheila Wallace will present the standard operating procedure for crisis risk communication.
- Planner Updates: Newly created Bristol County PHEP website – remains in development – www.region5bphep.org — Sheila Wallace will discuss the development status of the newly created Bristol County PHEP website.
- Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) Coordinator – Updates — Felicia Balbi will present updates from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
- Coalition Open Discussion: Any recent public health emergencies among coalition members — Coalition members will discuss any recent public health emergencies experienced across member communities.
- Coalition Open Discussion: Any emergency preparations or planning among the coalition communities — Coalition members will discuss ongoing emergency preparation and planning efforts across the coalition communities.
