The Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold a public meeting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026.
The meeting will be held remotely via Zoom. According to a public notice, the meeting’s end time is subject to change.
Metropolitan Planning Organizations are federally mandated regional bodies responsible for transportation planning and policy.

- Approval of Minutes – June 16, 2026 — The SMMPO will vote to approve the minutes from the June 16, 2026 meeting.
- Public Comments – Opportunity for the Public to Address the SMMPO — Members of the public will have an opportunity to address the Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization.
- Regional Transit Authorities (RTAs) Report – RTA Updates — The Regional Transit Authorities will provide updates.
- Update on FFY2026-2030 Amendment #7 — There will be an update on Amendment #7 for the FFY2026-2030 period, with no vote needed.
- FFY2026-2030 TIP Administrative Modification #1 — There will be an administrative modification to the FFY2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program, with no vote needed, covering changes to GATRA projects.
