The Taunton River Stewardship Council is scheduled to meet on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026, at 7 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the Taunton River Watershed Center, located inside Sweets Knoll State Park at 1387 Somerset Ave. in Dighton.
The session is scheduled to run through 11 p.m., though officials noted the end time is subject to change.
On the agenda
- New Delegate Update- Commonwealth of MA (Open), Bridgewater (Open); Reappointments — The council will receive updates regarding open delegate seats for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Bridgewater, as well as delegate reappointments.
- Officer Opening- Co-Chairperson — The council will discuss an opening for the position of Co-Chairperson.
- Delegate Updates — Representatives from various partner organizations, state entities, and member municipalities will provide updates.
- River Access & Improvement Committee- Monica Bentley (Chair) — The River Access & Improvement Committee will present an update to the council.
- Stewardship Plan Update- Lori Watson — The council will hear an update regarding the Stewardship Plan from Lori Watson.
- Coordinator Updates/Grant Programs- Gloria Bancroft — Gloria Bancroft will provide coordinator updates and information on grant programs.
- Other issues not anticipated within 48 hours of this meeting — The council may address any unexpected matters that arose within 48 hours of the meeting.
