The Fall River Public Schools Policy Subcommittee will meet on Aug. 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place in the School Committee Conference Room at the school department’s Administration Building, located at 417 Rock St. in Fall River. Subcommittee meetings typically involve the review and discussion of specific administrative guidelines and regulations governing the district.

- Citizens’ Input — An opportunity for members of the public to share comments, wishes, and ideas with the School Committee on any topic.
- Discussion and Vote to Refer: Attendance Policy-All grade levels — The subcommittee will discuss and vote on referring the attendance policy for all grade levels.
- Review: District Yondr pouch/Cell Phone Policy — The subcommittee will conduct a review of the district’s policy regarding cell phones and Yondr pouches.
- Discussion and Vote to Refer: Expense Reimbursement Policy (DKC) — The subcommittee will discuss and vote on referring the Expense Reimbursement Policy (DKC).
- Discussion and Vote to Refer: Destruction of Property Policy — The subcommittee will discuss and vote on referring the Destruction of Property Policy.
- Discussion and Vote to Refer: Work from Home Policy — The subcommittee will discuss and vote on referring the Work from Home Policy.
- Discussion: Possible Job Description Policy, following of job descriptions. — The subcommittee will hold a discussion regarding a possible policy for job descriptions and how they are followed.
- Update: MASC — The subcommittee will receive an update regarding the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC).
- Update: Student/Staff Handbooks — The subcommittee will receive an update regarding student and staff handbooks.
- New Business — A time reserved to discuss topics that could not reasonably be anticipated forty-eight hours prior to the meeting.
