The Fall River Board of Park Commissioners is scheduled to hold a public meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place in the City Council Hearing Room on the first floor of Government Center, located at One Government Center in Fall River.
The scheduled end time is 9:30 p.m., though officials noted the concluding time is subject to change.

- Acceptance of September Meeting Minutes — The Board will review and consider accepting the meeting minutes from September.
- Citizen Input — Members of the public will have the opportunity to provide comments or input to the Board.
- Request by James Crosson for use of Kennedy Park Pickleball court — The Board will consider a request to use the Kennedy Park pickleball court for a tournament.
- Request by Parks Director Darren Medeiros for review of Cemetery Rules and Regulations — The Board will review rules and regulations for Oak Grove Cemetery, including gate opening and closing times.
- Request by Joshua Demers for park use for metal detecting — The Board will consider a request to use Kennedy Park, North Park, Ruggles Park, and Lafayette Park for metal detecting.
- Request from Odin and Liberty Utilities for tree removal at 229 Langley St. — The Board will consider a request to remove a tree at 229 Langley Street that interferes with a gas line repair or new installation.
- Request from Talos the Veterans agent for use of Kennedy Park — The Board will consider a request to host the annual Veterans Day Parade at Kennedy Park on November 11th from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Request from Elmikon Miranda for use of Britland Park — The Board will consider a request to use Britland Park for games on October 3, 4, 31, and November 1 after 1:00 PM.
- Request from Alex Pierce Mercer for use of Kennedy Park — The Board will consider a request to use Kennedy Park for a car show on October 10, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Request from Chris Dufresne for approval letter for a CPC Project BMX track — The Board will consider providing an approval letter for a Community Preservation Act project to create a BMX track at Britland Park.
- Request by Paulo Amaral for tree removal at Andrew St @ Mt Hope Ave. — The Board will consider a request for the removal of a tree at the intersection of Andrew Street and Mount Hope Avenue.
