The Fall River Planning Board met on September 30, 2026, to address two development items. The board reviewed a request for completion for the Highland Woods subdivision submitted by AIS Real Estate Development Corp. City Engineer Daniel Aguiar advised that while physical construction appeared complete, the Department of Community Utilities required updated as-built drawings demonstrating conformance, including dimension clarifications, drainage pipe locations, and easement conveyance. Following Aguiar’s recommendation, the board voted unanimously to deny the completion request for the time being, agreeing to hold an interim technical review meeting with the developer’s engineer on October 6 and reconsider surety reduction and project completion at their next regular meeting.
The board also considered a Form A (Approval Not Required) plan of land (File #26-1686) submitted by Madison FR Properties LLC for 420 and 594 Airport Road (Map Z-3, Lots 0008 and 0024). Aguiar explained that the plan involved a lot-line adjustment allowing Invigen at 594 Airport Road to acquire a vacant warehouse and additional parking from 420 Airport Road, with no new lots created and full compliance with frontage, setback, and area requirements following Land Court review. The board voted unanimously to endorse the Form A plan before adjourning.
