The Fall River Community Preservation Committee will hold a public meeting on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting will take place in the City Council Hearing Room on the first floor of One Government Center. Remote access instructions are available on the meeting agenda for members of the public wishing to attend virtually.
The session is scheduled to run until 10:00 p.m., though the end time is subject to change.
On the agenda
- Open Meeting Law Notice — The committee will read or provide notice regarding the Open Meeting Law.
- Citizen Input — Members of the public will have the opportunity to provide comments and input to the committee.
- Approval of Minutes Annual Meeting, 2026, Meeting — The committee will consider and vote on the approval of the minutes from its 2026 Annual Meeting.
- Approval of Minutes August 17, 2026, Meeting — The committee will review and vote to approve the meeting minutes from August 17, 2026.
- Extension Requests: Fall River Art Association — The committee will review and vote on a project extension request submitted by the Fall River Art Association.
- Extension Requests: Fall River Water Dept. – North Watuppa Pond Seawalls/Historic Documents — The committee will review and vote on an extension request for the Fall River Water Department’s North Watuppa Pond seawalls and historic documents project.
- Eligibility Hearings — The committee will conduct hearings to determine project eligibility for Community Preservation funding.
- Project Updates — The committee will receive updates on currently ongoing Community Preservation projects.
- New Business — The committee will discuss any new business or topics raised since the last meeting.
