A sunken drain was reported outside 184 Stevens St. on Tuesday night, adding to a recent uptick in local road damage complaints.
According to the report filed on August 18, the drain has been covered by an orange cone and a piece of wood for several months. The condition of the sunken area appears to be worsening over time.
This incident is part of a rising number of similar issues logged recently. The city received three road damage reports this week, up from zero reports in the category during the previous week.
