The Fall River Zoning Board of Appeals has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, Aug. 20, at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place in the City Council Hearing Room, located on the first floor of Government Center.
The board hears and decides on matters such as appeals, applications for special permits, and petitions for variances from the city’s zoning ordinances.

- OLD BUSINESS 01. Applicant/Owner: Luis Gonsalves — The applicant is requesting a Variance to convert an existing Automotive Repair Facility into a Four-Unit Multifamily Dwelling, expanding to a total of nine dwelling units, and a Special Permit to expand an existing nonconforming structure by raising its height and to reduce required parking spaces.
- OLD BUSINESS 02. Applicant/Owner: Dylan Estates on the River LLC — The applicant is seeking a Variance to demolish an existing structure and construct a five-story, twelve-unit apartment building, waiving requirements for front yard setback, side yard setback, rear yard setback, and lot coverage, and a Special Permit to modify parking requirements by reducing spaces, eliminating a loading space, and allowing parking within ten feet of the property line.
- NEW BUSINESS 1. Applicant/Owner: 46 Bay Street Holdings LLC — The applicant requests a Variance to waive lot area, side yard setback, and rear yard setbacks to subdivide an existing parcel into three lots, allowing each existing dwelling to be on an individual lot.

Applicant/Owner: Double S Realty Trust — The applicant is seeking a Variance to waive the minimum lot area requirement to convert an existing office building into a four-unit residential apartment building and a Special Permit to modify the requirement that parking spaces be located on the same lot as the building or use they are intended to serve.
