Officials and community partners gathered to announce the launch of the sixth annual “Summer Evening in the Park” series in Fall River. Mayor Paul Coogan spoke about the event’s origins during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to provide safe, outdoor entertainment for residents. He emphasized its neighborhood focus and thanked the sponsors for their collaboration. Representatives from key sponsors, including Genesis from Bristol County Savings Bank and Patty from the South Coast Community Foundation (a new partner this year), also delivered remarks. They praised the event for fostering community connection and bringing vibrancy to the city. The announcement concluded with a call for the public to attend the events and a ceremonial check presentation.
